I back founders building at the intersection of AI and the physical world — robotics, industrial systems, TechBio, and the compute infrastructure underneath.
I spend my days at Bison Ventures, working with founders building at the intersection of AI and the physical world — robotics, industrial systems, TechBio, and the compute infrastructure underneath it all.
Before Bison: I grew up in the Texas heat, then studied Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech, where I worked in one of the first CRISPR labs. A PhD wasn't for me, so I started my career at Bain & Company, then Innovation Endeavors during its spin-out from Eric Schmidt's family office. A brief pandemic excursion in entrepreneurship followed, then a much less brief turnaround at TuneIn, where I led the global subscription business.
Outside of work, you'll usually find me at the Fort Winfield Scott Community Garden, on a trail somewhere in West Marin on foot or two wheels, or cooking an elaborate meal with my wife, Emily.
